Terms and Conditions
Welcome to GFRIEND. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GFRIEND mobile application and associated services (together, the “App” or “Service”), operated by the owner of GFRIEND ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, registering, or using the App you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that all information you provide during registration is true, accurate, and current.
2. Account, Registration & Security
To access some features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Do not share your login with others. Notify us immediately at support@gfriendapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or for security reasons.
3. Acceptable Use
You must use the App lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or bullying.
Uploading content that is obscene, defamatory, knowingly false, or promotes illegal activity.
Spamming, unsolicited commercial messages, or automated scraping of the App.
Impersonation of others or use of false identities.
Uploading material that infringes another’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
4. User Content; Ownership & License
You retain ownership of content you create and post ("User Content")
By posting User Content on the App you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, transferable license to use, host, display, distribute, modify, and promote that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete the content, except where we have already published or shared it.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to post your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
5. Content Moderation & Removal
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, modify, remove, or restrict User Content that in our judgment violates these Terms or may harm the Service or other users.
We may act on reports of infringement or abusive content; persistent violations may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy
All App design, logos, text, graphics, and features (excluding User Content) are our intellectual property or licensed to us. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in violation of your rights, contact us at gfriendapp@gmail.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) location of the infringing content; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will investigate and take action where appropriate.
7. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App you consent to such collection and processing as described there.
8. Payments and Purchases (if applicable)
If the App offers paid features, you agree to the payment terms presented at purchase. Refund and billing policies will be stated at the point of sale. We are not responsible for billing disputes handled by third‑party payment processors.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for damages arising out of or related to these Terms or the App is limited. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your User Content or use of the App.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any reason with notice where practicable. You may delete your account at any time through the App; deletion does not limit our rights to retain certain information as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good‑faith negotiations; if unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the courts in India.
